Bandpass filters are inherently consumable devices whose process life expectance is determined predominantly by light exposure, temperature, humidity, and initial quality.

 

Critical filter parameters include initial transmittance levels and consistency from one filter to the next. Deficiencies in either of these parameters can result in initial calibration failures, premature diagnostic errors, and post-run filter evaluation failures.
