Highlighted are a number of services and functions Western Test Solutions can provide customers, to aid and ensure a well rounded laboratory and smooth operation within the lab enviroment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Primary responder to customer requests to install, configure, maintain, repair and test multi-vendor mass spectrometers (such as Waters Corp, Agilent Technologies, ThermoFisher, and ABSciex), HPLC, SFC, NMR, GC instruments, as well as, autosamplers, plate readers, analyzers, etc., to bring it to manufacturer’s specifications.

 

 

  • Perform assigned PMs and calibrations on laboratory equipment, and report changes or repairs needed. Instrument types include but are not limited to: mass spectrometers, HPLC’s, autosamplers, plate readers, and balances.

 

 

  • Execute required administrative duties, such as: shipment of parts and assets for repair, management of spare parts (create inventory, organize, replenish stock, etc.), site equipment asset inventory, maintenance of service records, equipment manuals specifications and technical reference materials.

 

 

  • Execute small projects which may include minor equipment installations, configurations, modifications, and relocations.

 

 

  • Maintain elements of department documentation such as service reports, parts ordering, inventory, and PM schedules.

 

 

  • Become aware of, understand, and follow all regulatory and safety requirements. Participate and complete all required EH&S, technical, and assigned professional training.

 

 

  • Work safely and report all potentially unsafe conditions.
